Although I probably won't attend our reunion, I want to say hello to my fellow former classmates. My life started out so blessed growing up in Beloit and attending BMHS and has remained so. After graduating from Beloit College in 1966 Sharon and I married and are still together. After teaching school a couple years I went to graduate school at UCLA and settled into a 35 year career with State Farm Insurance Companies, earning a CPCU and CLU designation along the way. We have 3 handsome and successful sons - an accountant, an engineer and a physician - and 3 beautiful grandchildren. Sharon and I have lived an adylic life on the bayou here in Louisiana for 33 years. Living in the south fits our lifestyle of outdoor living - wilderness camping, canoeing, backpacking and scrambling up and down small mountains. Now both retired, we do volunteerr work at our church and in the community and I am trying to reinvent myself as a novelist. Peace! |

Danna and I have been married for 49 years, spent our working careers in Denver, Colorado, and retired to Fort Myers in 2005 to play lots of golf, travel, spend time on beaches, and eat too much and drink just the right amount. We have been successful in all catagories. There was a beer commercial 20 or so years ago with the tag line, "You only go around once, grab all the gusto you can." We are grabbing our share of gusto. |

After becoming an RN I worked at Elgin State Hospital for 2 years. Married in 1967, moved to IN, and spent 7 years as scrub nurse for a neurosurgeon. In 1971 my son was born and I was a stay at home for 5 years. Jeff has a MA in fine arts and lives in New York. In 1987 I divorced Charlie Beebe. I worked in various areas in nursing before working at Aetna. In 1986 I began working for Aetna (health insurance) and spent my last 15 years there in utilization and quality management before retiring. |

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, my husband and I were transferred twenty-three times around the country. We lived in eight different states and enjoyed each move -- our favorites being Minneapolis and Foster City, CA. The moves were always company related. |

My wife, Joanne, (Joani) and I have been married for 43 years. I cannot even imagine how anybody could put up with me for so long. Apparently, I am a better salesman than I thought. We have 2 daughters. - Megan Coates Ball (34), is married, is an opera (soprano ) singer and has performed in various regions of the US as well as Europe. - Jennifer Lee (30), is single and is a dancer and entertainer in Las Vegas. During my early years I taught High School Social Studies and coached athletics. I enjoyed working with the students but after 10 years it was time to change careers in order to make a reasonable living. For the next 30 years I was a Manufacturers' Representative covering parts of the midwest and some western states. Whe I turned 65 I sold my sales company and we retired to southern Arizona where we currently reside. Presently, my day job is playing golf, although my handicap doesn't show much improvement. Actually, retirement is enjoyable. I should have done it 30 years ago. |

Luckily, our sons and there families live close by so life is busy with children and grandchildren activities. In addition, I enjoy playing bridge, quilting, yard work (that's crazy), hiking. biking, golf and travel. Recently I started taking piano lessons to keep my brain working. I have volunteered for several years for Meals-on-Wheels and do blood pressure screening at the local senior center. We spend the winter months at our home in Mesa, AZ, where we enjoyed hosting 16 house guests last winter.

I retired from Beloit Hospital last summer after 10 years and previously from Beloit Corporation after 28 years. Jerry and I have been married for 29 years and between the two of us have 7 children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Needless to say, we are kept busy with family activities!I''ve stayed in Beloit since graduation and thoroughly enjoy living here. I'm an avid reader and love my Nook; we try to take one long trip every year and several short ones. Shopping and going to lunch with the "girls" are also a favorite pastime. However, my highest priority is visiting my grandsons, ages 6 and 3, who live near Milwaukee. They are such fun. Looking forward to October! |

Enjoy having no real schedule. We love spending time with children and grandchildren, all 5 of them. It has been fun renewing old acquaintances in Beloit and making some new friends. It is exciting to see all the improvements that have been made in the city.I keep very busy with a number of activities at my church that also benefit our community, a monthly book club with some former grade school friends and also regular lunches with them and other classmates. Mike and I have been married for almost 56 years and like to travel when we can, especially anywhere there is a beach. We sure will be glad when this Pandemic is over and we can visit our children and grandchildren and go out to dinner! Our oldest grandchild graduated (virtually) from Iowa State in May of 2020 and is working in Des Moines at a Public Affairs firm. We have a grandson who is a junior at U of Iowa and a granddaughter who is a junior in high school. We also have 2 young grands in 4th and 2nd grades. We have many items on our list of places to go once it is safe! Until then we will just keep safe, keep reading and playing board games and watching lots of movies. |
